ATTENTION! ATTENTION! The Fire School and Bucks County Community College no longer supply manuals for the various classes held at the Bucks County Public Safety Training Center. Manuals MUST be purchased prior to attending the class. The Manuals can be purchased from the Somerset County and Cambria County Fire Police Associations.

If you or your authorizing chief do not fill out the cancellation form and send it in no less than 72 hours prior to the start of the course, your fire company will be billed for the course. Emergency Vehicle Driver Training (EVOC)

This course provides instruction for emergency personnel, who may be involved in operating emergency vehicles. Topics included: defensive driving, emergency response, vehicle maintenance, and a driver training obstacle course.

Hazardous Materials Awareness Level Online

4Age 14 and up, Internet Access (This course is only available online)
The primary target audiences for this course are the First Responders charged with response actions associated with hazardous materials releases. Student will learn and adapt the knowledge and skill requirements for effective scene and response management. The goal of this program is to provide the First Responder with the training needed to comply with NFPA 472 Chapter 4 Competencies for the First Responder at the Awareness Level, and 29 CFR 1910.120 OSHA’s Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response, (HAZWOPER), First Responder Awareness Level. This program is designed to give the first responder the necessary skills to handle hazardous materials emergencies.
